Meet the PROsocialmedia Team
Learn Social Media from Early Adopters
Team PROsocialmedia is led by President & Chief Content Officer, Heather Angus-Lee – an award-winning journalist of daily newspapers and national magazines for 20 years before turning her talents to the Internet. She was trained years ago by a California pioneer in Internet marketing – and she's worked in SEO and social media research, strategy, writing, training, metrics and consultation ever since. Heather’s client work has included the creation of full social media strategy and implementation for an international biotech company, and for a national non-profit organization dedicated to workplace health and safety. She has long written Talk21, the national blog for CENTURY 21 Canada, on behalf of president Don Lawby. Heather's DNA, aside from type A entrepreneurship, is all about play - with her two dogs, three teenagers, husband and anyone in the office who wants to manhandle her Freddy Mercury doll or bobble-head Shakespeare.
Heather's right-hand anchor is Susan Correa, VP, Business Development, who comes to us directly from her time at Social Media Group, one of Canada's largest independent agencies in social media. An organizational wizard, she brings her background in sales and marketing to her role in the area of business development - a growth area of our very fortunate corporation. Susan is mom to three boys and an active volunteer in her hometown. Want something done? Ask a busy person, they say. (We say, ask Susan!)

Our design and web development team leader, jamEs Harris, has spent nearly half his life mucking around on the web. Trained as a graphic designer, he learned the ropes of website building by running a popular music fansite back in the late ’90s. He is now a web designer with a deep knowledge of SEO best practices as they pertain to the design and navigation taxonomy of a website.
Daniel R. Yhip, PROsocialmedia's research team lead, is a graduate of the Degroote School of Business at McMaster University. Along with business and marketing training, Daniel brings crack research skills, fluency in Spanish, and, of course, a 20-something's aptitude (as a digital native) for social media. He's a whiz with building Web Analytics reports - having a way with metrics that impresses our clients. Always up for displaying his piano and guitar talents, Yhipster - as friends call him - has organized acoustic nights with fellow musicians on and off campus. (And no, he is not as young as he looks!)
