Meet the PROsocialmedia Team

Learn Social Media from Early Adopters

Heather Angus-LeeTeam PROsocialmedia is led by President & Chief Content Officer, Heather Angus-Lee – an award-winning journalist of daily newspapers and national magazines for 20 years before turning her talents to the Internet. She was trained years ago by a California pioneer in Internet marketing – and she's worked in SEO and social media research, strategy, writing, training, metrics and consultation ever since. Heather’s client work has included the creation of full social media strategy and implementation for an international biotech company, and for a national non-profit organization dedicated to workplace health and safety. She blogs at writingSEO - her first company site, and at Talk21, the national blog for CENTURY 21 Canada, on behalf of president Don Lawby. Heather's DNA, aside from type A entrepreneurship, is all about play - with her mutt, the office dog, and her three teenagers, husband and anyone in the office who wants to manhandle her Freddy Mercury doll or bobble-head Shakespeare.

Susan CorreaHeather's right-hand anchor is Susan Correa, VP, Business Development, who comes to us directly from her time at Social Media Group, one of Canada's largest independent agencies in social media. An organizational wizard, she brings her background in sales and marketing to her role in the area of business development - a growth area of our very fortunate corporation. Susan is mom to three boys and an active volunteer in her hometown. Want something done? Ask a busy person, they say. (We say, ask Susan!)

Our design and development team leader, jamEs Harris, has an outstanding portfolio of sites he's designed and developed, including MySafeWork and InjuryBoard. He's spent nearly half his life mucking around on the web. Trained as a graphic designer, he learned the ropes of website building by running a popular music fansite back in the late ’90s. He is now a web designer with a deep knowledge of SEO best practices as they pertain to the design and navigation taxonomy of a website.

Larry Humber

Chieftan of Ideas and one of our lead writers, Larry Humber has written hundreds of articles for The Globe and Mail and other leading publications and was a correspondent for Reuters Online for four years. He also creates puzzles and word games for a broad range of clients, most recently for Golf Monthly and ELLE magazines - so he understands language like few others, and is an accomplished artist to boot; see his Globe and Mail illustration. His latest career, on the side, is as an accomplished 3D artist, with showings at galleries cross Canada.

Daniel R. Yhip, Research team leader, is a fourth-year business student at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He brings crack research skills, fluency in Spanish, and, of course, a twenty-something's intrinsct knack for social media, to his work with PROsocialmedia. Always up for displaying his piano and guitar talents, Yhip - as friends call him - has organized acoustic nights with fellow musicians on campus. Daniel Yhip
